A little about the role:
You’ll be the first smiling face families see when they walk through our doors. You’ll help new families join our dance family, book trial classes, follow up enquiries and support the day-to-day running of our busy studio.
We’re after someone who’s confident on the phone, great at solving problems and loves making people feel welcome and supported.
Responsibilities:
Providing outstanding customer service to families, students and visitors.
Answering calls, emails and promptly following up enquiries.
Booking and tracking trial classes and ensuring strong follow-up processes.
Assisting and encouraging new families as they join our dance community.
Provides information on classes, merchandise and helps promote holiday workshops.
Learning and managing our dance school software and administration systems (training provided).
Assisting in planning and coordinating key calendar events (e.g., concerts, Eisteddfods, open weeks, RAD exams, workshops).
Supporting the leadership team and Studio Manager with administrative projects and day-to-day tasks.
Helping implement studio initiatives and maintaining a positive, professional environment.
We are looking for someone who is:
Is confident, friendly, and loves providing amazing customer service
Is organised, self motivated and loves ticking off to-do lists
Is a natural problem solver and happy to take initiative
Loves helping new families feel part of our dance community
Is comfortable working with children and their families
Can learn new software programs easily (we’ll teach you!)
Is happy to work a mix of day and evening shifts
Has a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Experience in a dance, performing arts or education environment is highly regarded but not essential.

The National College of Dance invites applications for the position of Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial Fusion Teacher / Choreographer. The National College of Dance Junior Academy located in Newcastle NSW, offers dance classes in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz for students from 12 months old to Adults. Acrobatics, Pilates, Yoga and Body Conditioning are also available. Utilising the Royal Academy of Dance syllabi, our teachers are RAD trained.
