Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration Manager with sales experience. The position will work within our full-time college and our junior academy. The position would be responsible for managing the administration for our registered training organisation from enrolment to graduation and also supporting the studio manager of the junior academy with administration surrounding scheduling our timetable and workshops. The position operates primarily in an independent capacity. The ideal candidate will excel in working autonomously demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to manage tasks efficiently without direct supervision. The role requires a high level of self-reliance, effective time management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The applicant would have a track record of strong administration and attention to detail but also has the ability to talk easily with parent and students regarding enrolment into the school. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our college, combining administrative proficiency with a passion for the arts and a keen enjoyment of collaborative teamwork. This individual should thrive in organizing and working exclusively, as well as engaging in conversations with potential enrolments, creating an inviting atmosphere for prospective students and their families. The successful candidate will be comfortable and thrive in an environment where they can independently drive projects, make decisions, and take ownership of their responsibilities.
A preference for with a background or knowledge in the dance industry and any experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) would be looked favourably upon.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Enrolment:
– Provide information and guidance to prospective students and parents, facilitating a smooth enrolment process.
– Manage Audition administration and follow up.
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet follow up and enrolment targets.
– Utilise sales processes to drive enrolment into dance programs and training courses.
2. Administrative Oversight:
– Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative operations, with a keen eye for detail and an interest in learning aspects of compliance with industry standards and RTO regulations to support the compliance team.
– Develop and implement efficient administrative processes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
3. Communication and Co-ordination:
– Facilitate effective communication between various stakeholders, including instructors, students, parents, and external partners.
– Co-ordinate logistics for dance events, workshops, and training sessions.
4. Financial Management:
– Work closely with the finance team to monitor processing invoices and manage financial transactions related to dance programs, training courses and workshops.
5. Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Compliance:
– To assist the compliance manager with compliance with RTO standards and regulations, including accurate record-keeping, assessment coordination, and adherence to quality assurance measures.
– Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate continuous improvement in RTO operations.
6. Support the Junior Academy Administration Team.
– use effective communication to support the smooth running of the schedule
– Support the administration team in cross managing class enrolments and invoice management of full time, intensive training and associate program students.
– Support the Junior academy team with administration management and attendance of workshops
7. Dance Industry Expertise:
– Leverage knowledge and understanding of the dance industry to tailor administrative processes and support services to the specific needs of dancers, instructors, and artistic directors.
– Stay informed about trends, developments, and best practices within the dance community.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Proven experience as an Administration Manager with sales experience, a background in the dance industry and/or RTO setting would be highly regarded but not essential.
– Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in the enrolment area.
– Knowledge of RTO compliance requirements and experience with relevant administrative processes.
– Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in office software and relevant databases.

The National College of Dance Junior Academy located in Newcastle NSW, offers dance classes in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz for students from 12 months old to Adults. Acrobatics, Pilates, Yoga and Body Conditioning are also available. Utilising the Royal Academy of Dance syllabi, our teachers are RAD trained.
