National College of Dance’s vision is to be recognised as the leading classically trained classical, contemporary and commercial training facility in regional Australia touching the dance community with our uniqueness, creativity, choreography, collaborations and training methods.
We provide a space where young dancers can be educated and supported for their individuality within structured yet freely creative environment.
NCD support the student as the whole person, understanding their dreams and assisting them to create a reality through hard work, respect and resilience.
We do this by engaging with the most knowledgable, artistic and support team of staff and guest teachers as well as via our community of family all working together to make NCD the safe, successful and creative environment for all dancers.
National College of Dance’s faculty of dedicated and passionate staff are highly experienced professionals with extensive connections in the dance community. Under the leadership of the exceptionally talented and experienced Brett Morgan OAM, our trainers, educators and choreographers encourage and mentor our students to foster their love of dance.
Conveniently located in Newcastle on the corner of Lloyd and Young Streets, Lambton, our facilities are a vibrant environment purpose built for dance. Our facilities have six professional studios all fully equipped with sprung floors. Students of all ages and levels are integrated on the one site, fostering wonderful engagement between our senior and junior students.

The National College of Dance Junior Academy located in Newcastle NSW, offers dance classes in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz for students from 12 months old to Adults. Acrobatics, Pilates, Yoga and Body Conditioning are also available. Utilising the Royal Academy of Dance syllabi, our teachers are RAD trained.
