We’d like you to experience what it’s like to be a full-time dancer, so for your audition we invite you to attend the college for the whole day. In the morning you will enjoy a warm-up of Body Conditioning, as well as a two hour classical ballet class with the current full-time students. After a short break, you will complete your audition pieces and then attend an interview with the Artistic Director, Brett Morgan.
An audition dance piece will consists of:
You are not required to bring a costume. Please wear your normal dance wear, bring pointe shoes, ballet flats and contemporary foot wear if worn.
Our facilities do have showers, so feel free to bring a change of clothing and shower accessories.
After your audition, you will have a 30min interview with Mr Morgan. In this meeting he will provide you with valuable feedback and discuss with you your career options and aspirations.
If you live interstate, we are happy to consider a DVD audition, however the Artistic Director may request to see you in person.
Your DVD must contain the following.
