Supporting this new initiative for our region, National Youth Ballet Company (NYBC) provides opportunities for all dancers to join and obtain performance experience through their vibrant productions. NYBC was born from a vision to enrich the lives of young dancers and their communities, by creating a platform to inspire artistic ambition, with a focus on regional areas. NYBC and its board members have worked hard over the past few years to bring this concept to life, and NYBC are excited to inspire all dancers to dream of the opportunities this will bring to our industry.
The Youth Company is steered by an incorporated body with a board of like-minded professionals, all sharing a passion for the arts, especially in regional areas. Coming together from different industries and sectors to create a youth company that will reach, inspire and support any regional dancers and community audiences. Company members will be given the opportunity to work with choreographers on original pieces, along with the chance to perform works by iconic choreographers that have been performed all over the world.
