It is with the heaviest of hearts that we let our NCD family and friends know of the passing of our dearest Jenny Pickering. Words cannot describe our sadness. Jenny was our heart. She cared for, loved and supported everyone who walked our hallways and with her smile, heart and hugs made us all better people for being in our lives. Jenny had been part of the NCD faculty and family for more than 20 years, being an integral part of the colleges creation and ongoing function and management of students, exams and course material as well as teaching music, singing and playing the piano for class and RAD exams. She comforted us with her knowing nod and smile, holding our hands and imparting her wise words. Jenny never missed a beat and supported us with involvement up until her very last week. Jenny was the most positive, inspiring and motivated person with unwavering determination and care for everyone around her. We are devastated at the loss of our dear friend and also immensely grateful and blessed for having her in our lives. We will miss her laughter and skaweeeezing hugs. Jenny is now singing with the angels and always in our hearts.
