Originally from Byron Bay, Belle has grown up in Newcastle and completed her formal ballet training at the Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy and the National College of Dance. She was awarded her RAD Advanced 2 with Distinction as well as her RAD Solo Seal, and then went on to receive her Certificate IV and Diploma in Dance Performance.
Post her graduation at the College, Belle competed in the Prix de Lausanne, and then went on to study at the Queensland Ballet Pre-Professional Program, the San Francisco Ballet School, and the Dutch National Ballet Academy.
She was then accepted in to the Dutch National Ballet as junior member, and following that received a two-year contract as a junior member of the Zurich Ballet.
In 2018 Belle moved home to Newcastle and soon began working with the West Australian Ballet in Perth. In January 2019 Belle discovered her love for teaching and sharing knowledge of the dance industry with the next generation of young artists.
Outside of teaching, Belle writes as a contributing arts journalist Newcastle Herald, and is studying Bachelor of Arts and Languages at the University of Newcastle.
