Madeline’s journey in dance began at the age of 8 at Stepping Out Dance Factory in Dubbo, where she trained in ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz. At 12, she earned acceptance into The Australian Ballet School’s Interstate Training Program, commuting to Melbourne for three years.
By 15, Madeline joined the Tanya Pearson Academy Full-time classical program under Lucinda Dunn’s directorship, performing soloist roles with the Sydney City Youth Ballet.
Continuing her training abroad, Madeline attended the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, earning an Associate Degree in Classical Ballet.
Madeline worked with the Dutch National Ballet Company on their season of ‘Raymonda’ and worked with renowned répétiteurs on pieces by Crystal Pite and William Forsythe.
After graduation, Madeline danced with the Victorian State Ballet Company, performing in productions including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Paquita and Giselle. Throughout her professional journey, Madeline has taught dance to students of all ages in both group settings and one-on-one classes, and has also gained a Certification IV in Dance Teaching and Management.
In 2024, Madeline transitioned to teaching at the National College of Dance, furthering her passion for dance education.
