Every great story begins with an idea. Beyond the Page explores the journey of the author as their imagination takes shape and their stories come to life through dance.

Featuring works inspired by celebrated authors and storytellers:

• Charles Perrault – Sleeping Beauty
• The Brothers Grimm – Little Red Riding Hood
• Hans Christian Andersen – The Ugly Duckling
• Jane Austen – Pride and Prejudice
• Anne Rice – Interview with the Vampire
• Erin Morgenstern – The Night Circus

From timeless fairytales and literary classics to atmospheric modern storytelling, NCD dancers will bring each author’s imagined world beyond the page and onto the stage.
