DESCRIPTION:Audition Announcement – Call of the WildAuditions: Saturday 16th August | 12.45pm – 3.45pmLocation: STUDIO 3 – National College of Dance \nWe are thrilled to announce auditions for this year’s end-of-year production\, Call of the Wild – a powerful and loveable story inspired by themes from our previous 2014 production “Wild Life”. This new dance theatre work has been created specifically for the National College of Dance by Artistic Director Brett Morgan OAM and Associate Artistic Director Elise Frawley. \nChoreography will be brought to life by an incredible team:Brett Morgan\, Timothy Gordon\, Debbie Linnert\, Elise Frawley\, Jane Evans\, Mia Brace\, Jacinta De Palo\, Zoe Monohan\, Maddie Gibson\, and Olivia Dent. \nThis is a unique opportunity for selected students to audition for lead character roles\, including: \nImportant Information for Parents and Guardians:\n \nAdditional Rehearsals:Lead roles require scheduled rehearsals outside of regular class time. These rehearsals are vital to the quality of the production and will incur a fee to cover additional staffing and resources. Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory. \nPromotional Photography and Commitment:\nStudents selected for lead roles will be required to participate in promotional photo shoots. These images may be used on our website\, social media\, event programs\, and by the Civic Theatre for show promotion. By accepting a role\, you consent to the use of your child’s image for these purposes. With this in mind\, we request that students committing to these wonderful opportunities intend to  remaining with our  NCD family for a minimum of 12 months after the concert. This ensures and allows us to maintain consistency across marketing and promotional campaigns using show materials of the students who represent us throughout the following year. \nPromotional Photography:Students selected for lead roles will be required to participate in promotional photo shoots. These images may be used on our website\, social media\, event programs\, and by the Civic Theatre for show promotion. By accepting a role\, you consent to the use of your child’s image for these purposes. \nCostumes:Lead roles will have custom-made costumes\, tailored specifically for each character. While we aim to keep costs affordable\, please note that lead costumes may be more expensive than standard class costumes. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity for passionate students to showcase their talent and take part in something truly special.
