Meet Sarah Peressini! Sarah is excited to join the faculty at the National College of Dance, where she will be teaching a variety of styles, including Commercial, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, and more.
Sarah’s passion for dance began at a young age, and she has been dedicated to mastering various styles ever since. She has competed in numerous dance competitions and completed formal examinations in RAD Ballet, Glenwood Tap, and ATOD Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop.
Her training includes three years of full-time dance education, starting with two years at the Queensland College of Dance, where she earned an Advanced Diploma in Elite Performance (Commercial Dance). She continued her studies at the Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year, focusing on contemporary dance.
Throughout her training, Sarah was a member of Merge Dance Theatre, a Youth Contemporary Dance Company. She also had the opportunity to perform with Stephanie Lake Dance Company in the 2022 production of Colossus, alongside other PPY alumni.
Currently, Sarah performs in various gigs and shows with Luminary Productions and Lux Entertainment, including performances aboard Aqua Starships Glass Boat dinner cruises, showgirl routines, and more.
Alongside her performing career, Sarah is a passionate dance educator. She teaches in the Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year and leads open classes in various styles. Additionally, she is an instructor at Dorothy Cowie School of Dance, sharing her expertise and love for dance with the next generation.
