Dr Tracey Kelty is an academic at The University of Newcastle. Dr Kelty is passionate about teaching and learning in Higher Education and research focus is student support, transitional experiences and Health and Physical Education curriculum.
Dr Kelty was the original creator / writer of the Nutrition and Anatomy course materials and workbook for NCD, teaching the program for 2 years. She has now returned for 2025 to update and teach all aspects of Nutrition to our full time students.
Dr Kelty has extensive teaching experience in the Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) discipline in the primary and secondary school setting and currently full-time Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Dr Kelty has personal experience in the professional dance industry with her own daughter Alyssa Kelty graduating from National College of Dance in 2018 and performing as a professional dancer with New Zealand Ballet Company and also Queensland Ballet Company.
