DESCRIPTION:Audition Now for our Full Time Dance Programs\nAudition for the following streams: \no Classical \no Contemporary \no Commercial / Musical Theatre \nNational College of Dance is offering 3 incredible dancers the opportunity to receive 50% off our current full time dance program tuition fees. Apply now to attend our Scholarship Audition Day on Sunday 6th November\, 2022. \nThe NCD Scholarship is a monetary scholarship\, available for 12 months\, for all students auditioning for a place in the vocational training at NCD in either \no   CUA30120        Certificate III in Dance  to the value of $4158.00 \no   CUA40120        Certificate IV in Dance  to the value of $6930.00 \no   CUA50113        Diploma of Dance [Elite Performance] to the value of $7338.00 \no   CUA60120       Advanced Diploma of Dance [Elite Performance] to the value of $7338.00 \n  \nTO BE ELIGIBLE: \nAuditionees are required to attend the Scholarship Audition held at the NCD Studios in 151 Young Rd Lambton NSW\, on Sunday 6th November.  (no video auditions accepted) See timetable below. \nCriteria used in the audition process is as follows and will include class participation and performance of own Solos. \no   Technical ability \no   Performance quality \no   Career aspirations \nThe eligibility of scholarship also includes an interview and written questionnaire. Complete the Audition Form and we will forward you the questionnaire to complete. \nYou will be advised in writing of the result of the Audition and the Scholarship Audition.  The award of a scholarship is at the discretion of the Artistic Director and is final and no further discussion will be entered into.  The name of each scholarship winner is to remain confidential. \nSOLO PERFORMANCES \nYou can elect either the Classical Ballet Stream\, Contemporary Dance stream or Musical Theatre/ Commercial stream. No costumes are required\, but please bring your music and the appropriate footwear. \no   Auditionees require to perform two solos: Their primary genre and an alternative solo \nFor example: Classical Stream dancers will perform a Classical Solo + Solo in a different style \nTIMETABLE \n8.30am:  Arrive and warm up \n9.00am – 11.00am:   Classical Open class \n11.00am – 11.30am:   Break – Please bring food for snacks etc.  (Fridge and Microwave are available) \n11.30am onwards:      Solos & Interviews \nEach Auditionee is allotted a 30 min time-slot which is advised by email prior to the audition day. \nAPPLY NOW

SUMMARY:Celebrating 10 years Artistic Direction with Gala Concert - Nostalgia
DESCRIPTION:In May 2022\, NCD celebrated 10 years of dance with our Gala concert – Nostalgia. Held at the Civic Theatre\, it was a retrospective programme featuring spectacular choreography and an eclectic selection of our favourite concert pieces over the last decade.\n\n \n\nThe evening also celebrated Brett Morgan’s 10 years as Artistic Director of The National College of Dance\, along with his Order of Australia Medal for his services to dance in 2021.
