SUMMARY:2026/2027 Full Time Information Session
DESCRIPTION:Who is this session for?\nThis session is for parents of dancers who may be considering full-time dance training at some stage over the next one to two years but are unsure of the process\, unsure whether it would suit their dancer\, or simply want to start gathering information before making any decisions. \nMany parents ask us questions such as: \n\nHow do I know if my child is suited to full-time training?\nWhat opportunities are available in dance?\nWhat does a full-time program actually look like?\nIs professional dance a realistic option for my child?\nWhen should we start thinking about auditions or applications?\n\nThe purpose of this session is to answer those questions and provide information to help families understand the options available. \nWhat will you find out?\nDuring the afternoon we will discuss: \n\nThe different full-time programs available at the National College of Dance\nWhat a typical training week looks like\nAcademic and educational pathways\nCareer opportunities within the dance industry\nHow to determine whether full-time training may be appropriate for your dancer\nAuditions\, applications and enrolment processes\nKey dates and planning for 2027 entry\nThe experiences and outcomes of previous students\n\nThere will also be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss individual circumstances. \nWhy attend?\nYou do not need to have decided that full-time training is the right pathway for your dancer. \nThis session is intended to provide information for families who would like to better understand what options exist and what steps may be available should their dancer wish to pursue further training in the future. \nRegistrations are essential so that we can ensure sufficient information packs are prepared for all attendees. \nDate: Saturday 30th May\nTime: 2:15pm\nVenue: National College of Dance \nWe look forward to seeing you there. \n
