DESCRIPTION:Aspiring Pre-Professional Holiday Intensive / Audition for 2027\nThe Aspiring Pre-Professional Holiday Intensive is a three-day workshop designed for dedicated dancers who want to experience the structure\, expectations and training environment of a full-time\, pre-professional program. \nDesigned for students who aspire to attend Full time training in 2027 or 2028. \nThis intensive provides dancers with high-quality holiday training while also offering the opportunity to audition for the 2027 Full-Time Pre-Professional Program. Students are strongly encouraged to audition during the intensive\, though participation in the workshop is also available without auditioning. \nDancers may choose to: \nAttend the workshop only \nAttend one workshop day and Audition only on one of the scheduled days \nOr combine the workshop and audition on the same day over the three days \nAcross the intensive\, dancers will take part in body conditioning\, classical ballet\, pointe\, contemporary technique and contemporary repertoire\, reflecting the pace\, discipline and standards of full-time training. \n\nTraining across the workshop includes:\nBody Conditioning – supporting strength\, alignment\, stability and safe dance practiceBallet Class – focusing on classical foundations\, precision\, artistry and staminaPointe – developing strength\, control\, placement and confidence en pointeContemporary Class – expanding movement quality\, musicality and versatilityContemporary Repertoire – developing performance skills and artistic understanding \nClasses are delivered by senior faculty and reflect the structure of full-time training at the National College of Dance. \n\nDaily Timetable\nWednesday 15th | Thursday 16th | Friday 17th April \n9:00 – 9:45amBody Conditioning \n10:00 – 11:30amClassical Ballet Class \n12:00 – 1:00pmContemporary Class or Contemporary Repertoire \nFrom 1:15pmAudition Solos & Individual Meetings with the Artistic Director(for dancers choosing to audition) \n\nAudition Opportunity – 2027 IntakeDancers may book an audition on any one of the scheduled days\, either in conjunction with the workshop or as a standalone audition.   Auditioning during the intensive is highly recommended for dancers considering full-time training in 2027. \nClick Here to complete an audition form.  \nWhat to bring:Dancers should bring their own lunch\, snacks and water bottle each day. \nPlaces are limited to maintain a professional training environment. \nEarly registration is strongly encouraged. \nTrain.
