DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that international star Juliet Doherty is coming to Newcastle for an exclusive workshop\, made possible through her association with MDM Dance! This is an incredible opportunity for dancers in Newcastle to learn from one of the world’s most accomplished performers and artists. National College of Dance will be hosting the choreographer and guest teacher while she stays in Newcastle.\n\n \n\nRegister for workshop here: https://bit.ly/NCDJulietDohertyWorkshop\n\n \n\nJuliet Doherty is a multi-talented American actress\, guest artist\, teacher\, and choreographer\, best known for her lead roles in High Strung: Free Dance and Driven to Dance on Netflix. Her journey through the dance world is nothing short of extraordinary\, having won the Youth America Grand Prix International Finals twice and being featured at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center\, Lincoln Center\, and Radio City Music Hall.\n\n \n\nOriginally from New Mexico\, Juliet trained under her mother at Fishback Studio of the Dance before continuing her classical ballet education at the San Francisco Ballet School. Her stage credits include originating the role of “Ondine” in Marie (directed by Susan Stroman) and playing “Lise” in the Tony award-winning musical An American in Paris. She has also received honors from the National Society of Arts & Letters and the Beijing International Ballet Competition.\n\n \n\nAt just 15 years old\, Juliet became one of the youngest TEDx speakers\, sharing her insights on empowering young artists to achieve their dreams through mindful practice. Today\, she is a highly sought-after principal guest artist\, performing with internationally recognized companies such as Ishida Dance\, South Dakota Ballet\, and the Ballet International Gala. In addition to performing\, she teaches and choreographs worldwide for pre-professional academies\, companies\, and universities.\n\n \n\nFor nearly a decade\, Juliet has been an ambassador for MDM\, a brand she trusts for its positive impact on her technique and the longevity of her dance career.
